Duchess is a Rhodesian/Rott mix. She is extremely smart and loves all humans big and small (kids ok!) She will need some training to make friends with other dogs. She loves her current foster sisters but has hit or miss interactions with pups outside of her current "pack." Duchess is very food motivated, so training with treats has been quite easy. Kennel trained, doggy door trained, trained to sit and wait for her food!

Welcome to Mountain Mama Pyrs and Pups. Mountain Mama Pyrs, is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill rescue group of dedicated foster homes. Founded in June of 2023 by a few caring people, our sole purpose is to give abandoned, abused and unwanted pets another chance at finding loving, permanent homes. Although we focus on LGD breeds due to the overwhelming number abandoned here in Utah and the legislature that deems them disposable, we take any urgent dog in need.
