Pork chop is the cutest little fella. He is full of energy. He is really smart. We have taught him to sit and lay down. He is very good motivated and will do just about anything for a treat. He’s doing better with potty training. He will still have occasional accidents overnight. This did not happen while he was inside our home tho. Just in his kennel out in the shop. We could no longer keep him inside as he is too rough with cats. So we recommend a home with no cats. He’s still learning how to nicely play with other dogs. He is just too friendly and tries to mount them. We have not tested him with small dogs yet. He needs a family that will give him lots of exercise as he’s got lots of puppy energy. He’s always on the go sniffing everything out. He is not. He is usually pretty polite and does not jump up on us. He is vocal and barks while in his kennel. Pork chop does well with kids. My teenagers all enjoy his energy and play with him outside throwing toys around for him. He loves attention and is a good snuggler. He did well in our house and did not chew up anything. I have given him a couple toys in his kennel and he does not chew on them. In the outdoor kennel he is well behaved and just barks and runs the fences with the other dogs. He’s a very sweet boy

Welcome to Mountain Mama Pyrs and Pups. Mountain Mama Pyrs, is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill rescue group of dedicated foster homes. Founded in June of 2023 by a few caring people, our sole purpose is to give abandoned, abused and unwanted pets another chance at finding loving, permanent homes. Although we focus on LGD breeds due to the overwhelming number abandoned here in Utah and the legislature that deems them disposable, we take any urgent dog in need. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome to loving families. Mountain Mamas is funded by adoption fees, donations, fundraising events and tributes. All donations are tax deductible.
