Hazel is a four-month-old, heart-of-gold pup with a personality and soft floppy ears to die for! She is a great listener, extremely smart and stays by her person. Her beautiful soulful eyes hold some memories of a rough beginning in a home that wasn’t kind, but the love for her new life shines through and she is always so eager to tell you how grateful she is for your love. Adores lap cuddles, belly rubs, treats and learning new skills. Loves other dogs, indifferent to cats and will be a wonderful family dog.

Welcome to Mountain Mama Pyrs and Pups. Mountain Mama Pyrs, is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill rescue group of dedicated foster homes. Founded in June of 2023 by a few caring people, our sole purpose is to give abandoned, abused and unwanted pets another chance at finding loving, permanent homes. Although we focus on LGD breeds due to the overwhelming number abandoned here in Utah and the legislature that deems them disposable, we take any urgent dog in need. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome to loving families. Mountain Mamas is funded by adoption fees, donations, fundraising events and tributes. All donations are tax deductible.
