Atlas  has the gentle soul of someone who is just starting to see the good in the world, and the kindness of humans. He and his sister Hazel were rescued from a home where love was scarce and the hits too often. He is estimated to be about 4 months old. His DNA test is out for breed id.  Atlas  has blossomed beautifully in his foster home, where treats, cuddles and love are plentiful, and he is shining in his new world. His foster mom says he is energetic yet super chill and loves to run and play and gets along with other dogs and cats. He loves kids!!  Atlas  is soft, sweet and loves to cuddle!  Atlas  would thrive in a family with people who will love him and spend lots of times continuing his puppy training to be the best boy! Loves belly rubs, blankets and being with his people.

Welcome to Mountain Mama Pyrs and Pups. Mountain Mama Pyrs, is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill rescue group of dedicated foster homes. Founded in June of 2023 by a few caring people, our sole purpose is to give abandoned, abused and unwanted pets another chance at finding loving, permanent homes. Although we focus on LGD breeds due to the overwhelming number abandoned here in Utah and the legislature that deems them disposable, we take any urgent dog in need. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome to loving families. Mountain Mamas is funded by adoption fees, donations, fundraising events and tributes. All donations are tax deductible.
